What you’ll do
- Build AI-assisted analysis pipelines for genomic and multi-omic client datasets
- Deploy literature and protocol assistants grounded in client research corpora
- Evaluate foundation-model claims against benchmark and client data before adoption
- Collaborate with client scientists to fit AI into existing lab and data workflows
- Document methods to the standard regulators and journals expect
What we’re looking for
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field
- Strong Python and experience with genomics toolchains and workflow managers (Nextflow, Snakemake)
- Familiarity with biological foundation models (ESM, AlphaFold ecosystem) and their APIs
- Experience building retrieval systems over scientific literature and internal research corpora
- Statistical rigour appropriate to regulated, publication-grade science
