What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain our AI interface component library used across client builds
- Codify streaming, uncertainty and human-override patterns as reusable primitives
- Document usage so client teams adopt components correctly after handover
- Keep the system performant and accessible under real-world AI latency
- Partner with designers to turn new interaction patterns into shipped components
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years across design systems or frontend development
- Strong React, TypeScript and CSS, with component-library experience (Radix, shadcn/ui, Storybook)
- Experience building AI-specific components: streaming text, tool-call visualisations, feedback controls
- Accessibility depth — live regions and focus management for dynamically generated content
- Comfort using AI coding tools to keep the system moving fast
